Rangat teri zulfon ki gataon nay churayee,
Khushboo teray aanchal say hawaon nay udaayee !

Paimanay ka dil toot na jayey to kahoon
main,
Hai cheez gazab ki jo nikhaon nay pilayee !
[If the goblet doesn't mind, I would say this,
That thing what her eyes made me drink is Wonderful !]
Qaidi teri zulfon ka hai aazaad jahan say,
Mujko yeh rihayee to sazaon nay dilayee !
[One who is prisoner of your hair-locks, is
free from rest of the world,
I got this freedom due to my punishments !]
Maana ki baharon nay khilaaya hai gulon ko,
Ulfat ki kali dil mein wafaon nay khilayee !
[I agree that Spring has made flowers bloom,
But the flower of love blossomed due to sincerity !]
Tham-tham kay barasna kabhi jham-jham kay
barasna,
Saawan ko ada yeh meray ashkon nay sikhayee !
[Sometimes pouring like cats and dogs and
sometimes just drizzling,
My tears taught this style to the Rainy Season !]
Manzil pay pahunch kar `Naseem' ahsaaas hua
hai,
Jis rah say pahuncha woh khataon nay dikhayee !
[After reaching the destination, I realized it
'Naseem',
The road which I took to reach here, was shown to me by my faults
and mistakes !]
